Self-Tapping Screws – Durable, Corrosion-Resistant Fasteners for Metal, Plastic & Wood
Product Description
Our self-tapping screws are manufactured from high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel and are available in a wide range of head, drive, thread, and point options. They are designed to reduce installation time, improve holding power, and deliver consistent performance in both high-volume production and repair applications.
Unlike machine screws, self-tapping screws do not require a pre-tapped nut or threaded hole. Depending on the material and thickness, a pilot hole may be recommended. For harder metals, choose a self-drilling screw or pre-drill accordingly.

Installation Guide
Select the correct screw size and type for your material.
Drill a pilot hole if required. For thin sheet metal, a pilot hole is often recommended.
Align the screw with the hole and apply steady pressure.
Drive the screw with the correct bit until snug. Do not over-tighten.
For outdoor or wet environments, choose stainless steel or coated screws.
